'SimpleTopics started with an ambitious goal: to deliver authentic Neapolitan pizza to Paris. The Taylor family inaugurated our pizza house in 1985 as a cozy, family-owned business steeped in tradition.
Elizabeth Taylor, the founder, perfected her pizza-making skills on her journeys across Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizza chefs in Naples—the homeland of pizza. On returning to the UK, she embarked on a mission to recreate the essence of genuine Italian pizza, sticking to age-old techniques and the freshest ingredients.
Originally a humble pizzeria with just 12 seats, we've evolved into a cherished neighborhood feature, yet our devotion to excellence and authenticity remains intact. We continue to employ classic wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and choose only top-quality ingredients.
Now under the helm of the Taylor family's second generation, 'SimpleTopics is still a family-run business, and we're as enthusiastic as ever. While we have adopted modern-day innovations, we are committed to producing delectable, genuine pizzas that unite individuals.
